I just had to share this highly effective and very pretty DIY tutorial with you that I found over at Love Stitched. This is perfect to utilize at a wedding or in your home. It is so super simple yet so visually effective!

Materials needed:

Instructions:

  1. Dab the glitter paint onto your mason jar in random areas, making sure you are keeping within the width of the lace you have. (tip: to help you stay inside your lace width use a white erase marker to trace the width before you start- it will wipe stright off when you are finished)
  2. Cut out your strip of lace and tape it securely together around your mason jar.
  3. Spray paint your mason jar (with lace in place). You can use any colour you wish.
  4. Remove the lace right after spray painting so the lace doesn’t stick to your mason jar while drying.
  5. Once completely dry you can then put the mason jar top back on.
  6. When you are ready to use simply drop in your flameless tea light candle and place where you desire!
DIY lace mason jar steps The result is that the lace pattern is left on the jar and the glitter adds some sparkle which is further highlighted by the flameless tea light candle inside it. You could use our battery operated tea light candles or our remote controlled rechargeable tea light candles for this project. Ultimately it depends on how many you are making and if they are for your wedding or for use at home.
